Terms of Service.
The agreement between you and Mehra Holdings for the MolKraft website, the MolKraft app, your account and your plan.
Written in plain English on purpose. Each heading says what the section does; the short version comes first. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
The short version
- MolKraft is for people aged 18 or over. You use it through your browser; your structures, drawings and projects stay on your device.
- The free features need no licence. Paid plans add MolKraft's own models and tools; what each plan includes is on the pricing page.
- The full rules for the software, including what you own and what you must not copy or share, are in the MolKraft Licence. Where the Licence and these Terms differ about the software, the Licence prevails.
- Every plan can be tried free for 14 days first, so a paid licence is not refunded once it is delivered, apart from the cases in section 7 and your legal rights.
- Everything MolKraft predicts or calculates is an estimate. Check it against a measurement or a trusted reference before you rely on it.
- Do not copy or extract the models, drive MolKraft with a bot or an AI agent, share a seat, or use MolKraft for anything illegal or harmful.
- Indian law applies and the courts at Mumbai decide disputes; consumers keep the protections of their own country's law.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Mehra Holdings, a partnership firm, of Mehra Compound, 402 Pitamber Lane, Mahim West, Mumbai 400 016, Maharashtra, India, GSTIN 27AAAFM4270A1ZS ("Mehra Holdings", "we", "us"). They cover the MolKraft website at molkraft.com, the MolKraft application at app.molkraft.com, your MolKraft account, and the beta and trial programmes (together, the "Service").
The Service is operated by Mehra Holdings. Copyright in the website and the application is held by Mukul Mehra and Mehra Holdings.
The software itself is licensed under the separate MolKraft Licence, which you accept with these Terms. Section 9 below summarises that licence; the Licence page is the full text and prevails where the two differ.
These Terms bind the people and organisations who use MolKraft, not Mehra Holdings itself. Our partners, staff and contractors acting for Mehra Holdings, when they run, test, support or look after MolKraft, are not bound by the usage limits or the rules on automated use in these Terms.
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. It is not a contract term, but please read it.
2. Who can use MolKraft
You must be 18 or older to accept these Terms for yourself. MolKraft is not for children, with one exception: a school, college or university holding a Course or campus licence may give a seat to a student under 18 if, before the seat is used, the institution has agreed in writing with us to these Terms, the Licence and the Privacy Policy on the student's behalf, or a parent or lawful guardian has given consent that we can verify, as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires. Clause 5.10 of the Licence says what such a seat collects and does not collect: no prediction counts, no automation reports, no marketing, no tracking or behavioural monitoring, no advertising. [when the feature ships] No such seat is offered yet. If you are 18 but under the age of majority where you live, you may use MolKraft only if your local law lets you enter into this agreement. Our request-access form asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older.
If you use MolKraft for a university, school, company or other organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it; "you" then also means that organisation.
You must not use the Service if you are in a country or territory under comprehensive sanctions by India, the United Nations, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom, or if you are on a sanctions or restricted-party list of any of them.
3. Accepting these terms
You accept these Terms and the MolKraft Licence, which these Terms include, when you request beta access, sign in to the app, create an account, buy a plan, or otherwise use the Service. The Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data; where the law requires your consent for that, we ask for it separately. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
4. Your account
During the private beta you sign in to app.molkraft.com with your MolKraft account. The account is free and anyone may create one, but it opens the beta app only once we have given it beta access, which we give, refuse or withdraw at our choice because the beta is free; sign in with the email address your invitation or approval was for, because beta access is attached to that address. MolKraft accounts let you sign in with your email address and a password followed by a code we email you, or with your Google account; Google tells us your email address, your name and the basics of your Google account listed in the Privacy Policy, and we never see your Google password.
Keep your sign-in details safe. Everything done through your account is your responsibility unless it happened because of a security failure on our side. Use a working email address: we send licence, security and billing notices to it, and a notice sent there counts as delivered. Tell us at once at hello@molkraft.com if you think someone else is using your account.
One person, one account. Do not make accounts for other people, and do not let other people use yours. A seat on a Lab, class or campus licence is for one named person with their own account.
5. Plans, eligibility and prices
MolKraft has free features, which need no paid plan, and paid plans: Academic, Professional, Lab, and class and campus licences by quote. What each includes, and the current prices, are on the pricing page; the feature list of a paid plan on the day you buy does not shrink during your paid term.
Academic. The Academic plan is only for people with a current university or college email address (for example an address ending in .edu, .edu.in, .ac.in or .ac.uk), checked when you buy; other university addresses are checked by hand when you ask us. Academic licences are for study, teaching and non-commercial research only. If you graduate during a licence year, you keep Academic until that year ends.
Lab. A Lab licence covers up to 10 named people at one organisation at a single site (one campus, laboratory or office). Every Lab seat must be held under an email address on the organisation's own domain; addresses at free webmail services do not qualify. A seat may be moved to another person at the same site once every 60 days and at most twice in a licence year, by writing to us; the person who gives up the seat loses the licensed features.
Prices by location. Prices are shown in rupees to visitors in India and in US dollars elsewhere, based on the country your connection comes from. Prices in India are quoted before GST, which is added at checkout at the rate in force. Prices outside India are quoted before any tax our reseller must add. Promotional prices, such as founding prices, are marked as such, apply for the period stated, and can end.
No VPN or proxy to misrepresent where you are. You must not use a VPN, proxy, relay or any other means to make it look as if you are somewhere else, or someone else, to get a price, currency, payment method, plan, discount, tax treatment or access that is not offered where you actually are. Using a VPN for ordinary reasons, such as your institution's network or your own privacy, is fine. If we reasonably believe you have broken this rule we may suspend your account at once; we will email you the reason and give you 14 days to show us where you are (for example with a billing address, an institutional email or an official document). If you do, we restore access; if you do not, or the breach is confirmed, we may end your account and licences and ask you to pay the difference in price.
Mistakes in prices. If a price shown is obviously wrong, we may cancel an order placed at that price and refund it in full.
6. Paying and renewing
MolKraft is in a private beta; nothing is charged until paid plans open. When they do:
In India you pay Mehra Holdings through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking) or by bank transfer against our invoice. Razorpay is a payment gateway; the seller is Mehra Holdings, and a GST tax invoice is issued for every payment. A yearly licence in India is a one-time payment for one year: it ends on its end date unless you pay again.
Outside India you buy from Paddle.com Market Limited, or its affiliate for your region ("Paddle"), which sells MolKraft as our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle's checkout terms apply to that purchase, including its handling of tax, invoices and payment data; the licence itself is granted by Mehra Holdings under section 9. Plans bought through Paddle renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date; the checkout says so, and you can cancel at any time in Paddle's billing portal or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
Unpaid amounts. If a payment fails or is reversed, your licence may stop after a 14-day grace period. A chargeback or payment dispute raised on a licence you have used may lead us to suspend your account until it is resolved; if it is decided against us the licence is revoked, and if in our favour access is restored. Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank; most problems are solved in a day.
7. The 14-day trial, and refunds
Try before you buy. Every plan can be tried free for 14 days with the full product, including the NMR models. No card is needed and the trial ends by itself with no charge: one trial per person, per email address and per browser; buying Academic afterwards still needs a university email address. Trials are for evaluation, not commercial work, and what you make during a trial stays in your browser afterwards. The free features need no licence at all, and molkraft.com/requirements lets you check that your computer and browser are supported before you pay.
The rule. A MolKraft licence is digital and is activated on your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. Because you can try the whole product first, a licence is not refunded once it has been activated, and there is no pro-rata refund for the unused part of a period. By buying a plan you confirm that you were offered the 14-day free trial, that if you did not use it you chose to go ahead without it to satisfy yourself that the software suits you, and that you understand this rule. Ending a yearly plan early, or cancelling a Paddle subscription, does not earn a refund of the unused months.
When we do refund, in full:
- you were charged twice for the same licence, or charged an amount that does not match the price shown at checkout (the extra charge is refunded);
- you paid, your licence did not activate within 24 hours, and we could not activate it after you told us;
- you use a browser and device listed at molkraft.com/requirements, the licensed features do not work substantially as described in the user manual, and we cannot fix the problem or give you a workaround within a reasonable time (the refund covers the unused part of the term);
- we made a mistake, such as cancelling a licence in error, or changed these Terms in a way that materially reduces what you paid for (the refund covers the unused part of the term);
- the law requires it.
Write to hello@molkraft.com within 7 days of the charge, or of first noticing the problem, from the email address on your account, with the payment reference. The 7 days let us investigate while the records are fresh; a later report is still considered where the law requires it or where the delay was not your fault. We acknowledge refund requests within 48 hours and decide them within 7 working days. A refund is paid to the payment method you used, in its currency, within 7 working days of our approval: through Razorpay or by bank transfer in India, with a credit note against the tax invoice; through Paddle elsewhere, under Paddle's own refund terms, which may give you more than this section does. A full refund ends the licence at the next online check.
What is not a reason for a refund: the licence not meeting your expectations, because you could try the full product first; changing your mind; not using the licence; buying the wrong plan when the right one was offered (we move you to the right plan and charge or credit the difference instead); a computer or browser that does not meet the published requirements; a result you disagree with (every MolKraft result is an estimate that you must verify); or a feature that was never listed for your plan.
Your legal rights. Nothing here limits your rights under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to complain to our Grievance Officer (section 17) and to a consumer commission. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase of digital content; by buying you ask for the licence to be activated at once and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw when it is. Your mandatory rights under your home country's consumer law are not affected. Wherever you are, if the law gives you a right to a refund that this section does not, that right applies.
8. The beta
Beta access is free, by invitation only, and personal. A beta licence is for non-commercial use, may be shortened, renewed or ended by us at any time, and covers up to three browsers. The beta is unfinished software: features may change, pause or stop without notice, and it comes with no warranty. We may ask you not to publish screenshots, benchmarks or descriptions of features that are not yet public, and you agree to that until we release them. Beta testers who report problems agree that we keep their reports as the Privacy Policy describes.
Teachers. We give one consent in advance: a beta tester who teaches may show MolKraft live to their own class, on their own screen and their own sign-in, and may give that class handouts made from their own results. The consent covers showing and handing out, nothing more. It does not let a student use MolKraft or the tester's sign-in; a student needs their own access under section 2. Posting screenshots, recordings or descriptions of unreleased features anywhere outside that class still needs our written consent.
9. The software licence
This section summarises the MolKraft Licence, which is the full agreement for the software, the models and the data. Where this section and the Licence differ, the Licence prevails.
What you get. For the term of your plan, and while you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the MolKraft software, its prediction models and its data tables (together, the "Software") through a web browser, for the number of seats in your plan and for the purposes it allows. The Software, the models and the data are licensed, not sold; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Browsers and checks. Each seat may register up to three browsers at a time; a browser that has not contacted our licence server for 30 days may be removed automatically, and you can replace your oldest browser from the app. A seat may add no more than five new browsers in 24 hours, replacing one included; the app says so when that limit is reached. The models run only in a registered browser with our licence server's permission, which is renewed while the browser is online, so MolKraft needs an internet connection at least once a day to keep the models running; between checks it works offline. The free features and the free increment-rule NMR method need no licence.
Your results. You may use what MolKraft produces from your content (predictions, names, properties, images, files) for any lawful purpose your plan allows, including in papers, theses, reports and teaching material. We ask, but do not require, that you cite MolKraft.
Updates. We may update the Software and the models at any time; updates are covered by this licence. We may retire a model version.
What you must not do. Except where the law gives you a right we cannot exclude, you must not, and must not help anyone else to: copy, extract, dump, decrypt, decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the models, the data or the Software, or try to recover their parameters, weights, structure or source code, from browser memory, storage, developer tools, network traffic or anywhere else; remove, disable or work around the licence marks, usage limits or any other technical protection; distribute, publish, upload, sell, rent, lend, host or otherwise make the models, the data or the Software available to anyone else; use the models, the data, the results or the Software to build, train, tune, distil or improve any model, lookup table, dataset or product that does what MolKraft does, including by collecting results in bulk; query the models by script, bot, headless browser or any automated means, or beyond the fair-use limits below; share a seat or a sign-in, or exceed your plan's seats or browsers; remove or change any copyright, licence, attribution or third-party notice; use the Software for a purpose your plan does not allow (for example commercial work on an Academic, beta or trial licence), or present a result as measured or verified data.
Automated agents and AI tools. MolKraft is made to be operated by a person. Except where the law gives you a right we cannot exclude, you must not use, or let anyone else use, a bot, script, browser-automation tool, headless browser or AI agent (including an AI system that can operate a browser or a computer for you) to open, operate or navigate the Service, to submit structures or pictures to the models, or to read, copy or collect results, unless: (a) it is assistive technology that you use because of a disability, such as a screen reader, voice control or switch access; (b) it is a feature of MolKraft itself; or (c) we have agreed to it in writing beforehand. What you do with results you have exported from MolKraft, with any tool, is up to you, within the rule above against training or building a competing model. To protect the models, the app looks at how it is being operated, never at your work, and may report signs of automated operation to our licence server, ask you to confirm that a person is present, and pause the models in that browser; the Privacy Policy says what is sent and how long we keep it, and "Suspected automation" below says what happens next. Automated use is a breach of this section, and section 13 applies.
Licence marks. Each copy of a model delivered to a browser carries one or more hidden marks unique to the licence, seat or browser it was delivered to, designed to change a result by no more than a negligible amount. If a copy of a model, or any part or derivative of one, is found outside MolKraft, we may use the marks and our delivery logs to identify the licence it came from and rely on that in enforcing this licence. You must not remove, alter or try to detect a mark. The Privacy Policy describes the personal data involved.
Fair-use limits. The models are for interactive work, one structure at a time, and these limits are set above the pace of a person working quickly. They exist to stop the models being extracted by mass querying. NMR models: in each browser, up to 10 new structures in quick succession and then one every 3 seconds, and at most 150 new structures an hour and 500 a day; and across all the browsers on one seat, at most 1,000 new structures a day. A structure the models have already estimated in that browser that day, in the same solvent, does not count again. Picture reader: in each browser, up to 50 pictures an hour and 200 a day. The hourly limits reset at the start of each clock hour and the daily browser limits at midnight, both in your local time; the seat limit is counted by our licence server from the counts below and resets at midnight UTC. Past a limit nothing is lost: ¹H and ¹³C NMR switch to the free increment-rule method, with a note, until the limit resets; the other NMR models and the picture reader wait; everything else in MolKraft keeps working. When a seat reaches its daily limit, our licence server stops unlocking the NMR models for that seat until midnight UTC, and each of its browsers stops using them at its next estimate in the same way. While online the app tells our licence server how many new structures were estimated: a count only, never a structure. The server uses the count to apply the seat limit and as a signal to look closer at unusual use; a count is never on its own a reason to end a licence. If your work genuinely needs more, write to us before you begin and we may agree a higher limit in writing. We may revise this fair-use policy (these limits and the rules on automated use above). A change that lowers a limit or tightens a rule takes effect 30 days after we have given notice to all users, by email to account holders and by a notice in the app and on this site, unless the law requires it sooner; a change that raises a limit may take effect at once. For these changes the 30 days stand in for the 14 days in section 18, which otherwise applies.
Suspected automation. If the app sees signs that a program rather than a person is operating it ("Automated agents and AI tools" above), it tells our licence server with its next request: the kinds of sign seen and a score, never your work. What follows, in this order. First, when the signs are strong, the licence server asks you to confirm that a person is present through a short check provided by Cloudflare before it unlocks the models again; one tick is normally enough, and nothing else changes. Then, if that check finds no person, or the signs continue after a pass, the licence server pauses the NMR models and the picture reader in that browser until a member of our staff has looked and cleared the pause; the rest of MolKraft, including its free features, keeps working, and your licence and your other browsers are not affected. A browser added to the seat while a pause lasts starts paused too, until the same pause is cleared. The message in the app says why, names the assistive-technology exception and gives you an address. If you were working in person, or with assistive technology, write to hello@molkraft.com and we clear the pause; we answer within 2 working days. A pause is not a decision about your licence: only a person can suspend or end one (section 13), after looking at the evidence.
Repeated breach of the fair-use policy. Reaching a limit is not a breach: the app applies the limits, and a count is never on its own a reason to act. Working around a limit, or breaking the rules on automated use, is a breach. The first time, we warn you by email, give the reason and let you explain within 14 days; if the same breach continues, or is repeated within 12 months of the warning, we may suspend the licence, and may end it under section 13, after a person has looked at the evidence and told you why. Repeated breach is misuse of the Software, so a licence suspended or ended for it is not refunded, and the time lost to the suspension is not added back, unless we were wrong. A knowing or reckless breach, such as extracting the models, needs no warning first: section 13 applies at once.
Organisations. When an organisation holds a licence, the organisation is our customer and is responsible for its seat holders' compliance; each seat holder also accepts these Terms when they first use their seat. A class or campus licence names the organisation, the number of seats, the courses or departments it covers and its end date, and runs to that date.
Open-source parts and third-party data. MolKraft includes open-source software, fonts and data licensed under their own terms, listed in the app's About dialog and in the notice files served with it; those licences govern those parts, and nothing here limits the rights they give you. Data obtained from PubChem (United States National Library of Medicine) is used under PubChem's terms and credited in the app where it is shown; we do not claim it as our own and do not verify it.
When the licence ends, the models stop running in your browsers at the next check, and you must delete any copies of the Software and models in your possession, including copies in browser storage. Your own content, the results you produced before it ended, and the free features stay available to you.
10. Acceptable use
MolKraft is for legitimate study, teaching, research and professional chemistry. Breaking the rules below can lead to suspension or termination of your account and licences and, where the law provides, to legal action.
- Illegal chemistry and harm. You must not use MolKraft, or anything it produces, to design, plan, optimise, synthesise, produce, acquire, stockpile, transfer or deploy: chemical weapons and their precursors, including every chemical listed in Schedule 1, 2 or 3 of the Chemical Weapons Convention, and the means of delivering them; biological, radiological or nuclear weapons, their agents or components; controlled substances (narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogues, and any other substance whose manufacture, possession or supply is restricted where you are or where it would go, including under India's Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the United States Controlled Substances Act and the United Nations drug-control conventions), except under a licence or permit that expressly allows the work; explosives, incendiaries and other devices intended to harm people or property; or poisons or any other substance or device intended to injure, kill, incapacitate or harm a person, an animal or the environment. Drawing a regulated compound, or predicting its properties, for lawful and approved research, teaching, analysis, safety, detection, medical or regulatory work is not misuse; using MolKraft to help make, obtain or use one for a prohibited purpose is, and we may report it to the authorities.
- Export control and sanctions. The Software is a chemistry drawing and prediction tool, which we classify as EAR99 under the United States Export Administration Regulations. You must comply with the export-control and sanctions laws that apply to you, including India's Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, the United States Export Administration Regulations and Regulation (EU) 2021/821, and with any licence, permit, institutional approval or ethics approval your work needs.
- No scraping, automation or attacks. Do not crawl, scrape or mirror molkraft.com or app.molkraft.com; do not call our licence server or any of our APIs other than through the MolKraft app itself (assistive technology used for accessibility is fine); do not operate the app with a bot or an AI agent (section 9, "Automated agents and AI tools"); do not send automated or bulk submissions to our forms or email addresses; do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems, try to reach any account, system or data that is not yours, interfere with the Service or other users, or send malware. If you find a security weakness, tell us at hello@molkraft.com; we welcome good-faith reports and will not take action against researchers who act responsibly and do not access other people's data.
- Other rules. Do not present a MolKraft result as measured or verified data, or use it for clinical, safety-critical or regulatory decisions (section 12). Do not use the MolKraft name or logo without our written consent, except to say that you use MolKraft. Do not use the Service to store or send content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or malicious, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
To report misuse, email hello@molkraft.com. We investigate and act proportionately: a warning, a suspension with a chance to explain, or termination, depending on the harm; where the models or the illegal-chemistry rule are involved we may act at once.
11. Your content and your results
You own the structures, drawings, reactions, projects, files and other content you create with MolKraft, and the results MolKraft produces from it. We claim no rights in them. Clause 7 of the Licence says the same, and adds the two things we ask about exported files: the hidden software tag and, on some plans, the visible mark.
MolKraft keeps your content in your browser, not on our servers, so you are responsible for exporting and backing it up: browser storage can be cleared by you, your browser or your device, and we cannot restore it. Your content leaves your device only when you choose a function that uses an online service (today, PubChem lookups) or when you send it to us yourself, for example in a bug report; the Privacy Policy lists these cases.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them to improve MolKraft without owing you anything, and we will not publish your name with them unless you agree.
12. Scientific results are estimates
Everything MolKraft predicts or calculates, including NMR shifts and simulated spectra, names, properties, pKa and solubility values, 3D geometries, orbitals and surfaces, reaction balances and quantities, and structures read from pictures, is a computational estimate. It is not a measurement, has not been peer-reviewed, and may be incomplete or wrong, including in ways that no confidence indicator in the app shows. Our NMR accuracy page says how close the NMR estimates came on measured spectra, and where they are weaker.
You must verify any result experimentally or against authoritative references before relying on it, and you are responsible for every use you make of it. MolKraft is not designed or validated for, and must not be used for, clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic purposes; the manufacture, quality control or release of pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics or chemicals for human or animal use; hazard assessment, process safety or emergency response; regulatory submissions; legal, patent or forensic determinations; or any use where an error could cause death, injury or serious harm. MolKraft does not give scientific, medical, legal or regulatory advice.
13. Suspension and ending
By you. You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account from your account page, except while it holds an active licence other than the free trial; you can also ask us to close it and delete your personal data by writing to hello@molkraft.com from your account's email address. Closing your account does not refund a licence (section 7).
By us. We may suspend or end your account or a licence, with notice where practical, if you break these Terms; if a payment fails or is reversed; if the law or an authority requires it; or to protect the Service, its users or our rights. A beta or trial licence may be ended at any time, without a reason, because it is free. A knowing or reckless breach of the licence restrictions in section 9 may also end any other licence you or your organisation holds, and may cause us harm that money cannot repair, so we may ask a court for an injunction as well as damages.
Sections 9 (what you must not do and the licence marks), 11, 12, 14, 15 and 16 survive the end of this agreement, as do the Clauses of the Licence that it says survive.
14. Warranty and availability
We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Paid plans: we warrant that, for the paid term, the Software will perform substantially as described in the user manual when used on a supported browser and device listed at molkraft.com/requirements. If it does not, tell us; we will fix the problem or give you a workaround, and if we cannot do either within a reasonable time, we will refund the unused part of your paid term and end the licence. This is your only remedy for breach of this warranty.
Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, the Service is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that results will be accurate, or that the Service will be available at any particular time; MolKraft changes often, and we may add, change or remove features, though we will not remove a core feature from a paid plan during a paid year without offering you a fair remedy. Beta and trial access carries no warranty at all. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded, including rights under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the mandatory consumer rights of the country in which you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
15. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; loss of profit, business, data or goodwill; the cost of substitute services; or any loss caused by relying on a MolKraft result (section 12).
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for everything arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing (beta, trial or free use).
Known issues. When an error in a MolKraft prediction is reported to us and we verify it, we fix it or publish it as a known issue in MolKraft's release notes (What's new, in the app). Once an error has been published there or fixed in a release, no liability arises from that known issue for use of the Service after the publication or the fix. Any compensation for a newly reported and verified error is paid only to the person who first reported it to us, within the limit above and only for loss shown to result from the error. Section 12 still applies: every result must be verified before you rely on it.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not let us limit.
Your responsibility to us. If you use the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, you will compensate us for the losses, costs and legal fees that result, as far as the law allows. If you are a consumer, this applies only to losses caused by your intentional or negligent breach.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, write to hello@molkraft.com and give us 30 days to resolve the matter. Our Grievance Officer (section 17) handles complaints under Indian law.
Courts. Subject to the two paragraphs below, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
Business customers: arbitration. If you are not a consumer (for example a company, laboratory, university or other organisation, or a person buying for a business), any dispute that is not settled by talking to us is referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by agreement between the parties or, failing agreement within 30 days of a written request, as that Act provides. The seat and venue of the arbitration is Mumbai, the language English, and the award final and binding. The courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction to grant interim relief and for every matter that the Act reserves to a court.
Consumers. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away your right to complain to a consumer forum or commission in India under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or, if you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, to bring or defend a claim in the courts of your home country and to rely on the mandatory consumer protections of its law.
Either party may apply to any competent court for urgent relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

18. Changes and general terms
Changes to these Terms. We may change these Terms; the date at the top changes when we do. For a material change we give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app, unless the change is required by law or needed for security. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and, if the change materially reduces what you paid for, write to us within the notice period for a pro-rata refund of the unused part of your licence.
These Terms, the MolKraft Licence and any order form we have signed or confirmed with your organisation are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. Where they differ on the same point, the order is: first the order form, then the Licence, then these Terms; the Privacy Policy describes our handling of personal data and is read with them. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent; we may transfer it to a company that takes over the MolKraft business, and will tell you if we do. We are not responsible for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at our hosting or payment providers. These documents are written in English, as used in India (British spelling). Where they are translated, the English version prevails. Electronic acceptance and electronic records are valid under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and similar laws, and you agree to them.
